The founder of LA experimental pop label Meta Physica, Meishi Smile released their new single, “Pond” along with the music video, that is beautifully tinged in light blue like early 2000s’ Japanese movies.

Although Meishi Smile changes up their sonic palette across albums and EPs, the heart lies unmoved in their beautiful, emotional melodies and poignant noise. The new shoegaze synth-pop, “Pond” is featured in their new the new mixtape "memoriam" Out 8/30/22. Watch the video below.
